Creative Ground at Gesamtkunstwerk
Grand Opening of Creative Ground at the Gesamtkunstwerk Building, a new contemporary and botanical arts center in the Allapattah neighborhood of Miami, FL. The Gesamtkunstwerk Building is an ecosystem of art professionals representing Miami’s diverse and dynamic creative landscape founded in 2012 by Francisco De La Torre.
The development of a two-story art center dedicated to the exhibition of exceptional Miami-based artists and creatives, plus a dynamic botanical showroom, and sanctuary for native, Florida plant life, and butterflies.

Celebrate (with COVID safe protocol) brand new gallery addition “The Annex” + the new courtyard botanical garden and honor the funders of this capital grant
Highlight new equipment, interior and exterior improvements, commissioned artworks by Franky Cruz, Francisco De La Torre, and Jessy Nite
Support the local Miami community businesses in hiring practices
Create scenic tableaus for a mini documentary film
Branded face masks and water bottles with self-serve pre-batched cocktails for COVID safety
Timed gallery tours (managed through Tock) with limited guest numbers indoors
Clear umbrellas for guests to use in the garden
Branded lighting design in Gesamtkunstwerk’s signature green color
Metal plaque with all participating community members’ names
Didactic signage to explain facility upgrades and artwork and social distancing

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Creative curation and implementation of a large capital grant.
Designated interviews with all potential Miami project candidates.
Presentation and selection interviews with funders.
Collaboration, Architects, Engineers and Lenders. Presenting renderings, engineering demo and reconstruction for permits.
Permitting with City Offices. Employed local consultants to expedite permitting for change of occupancy, interior and exterior build-out, and commercial inspections.
